Jasper Ridley

Jasper Ridley (1920-2004) es un escritor británico conocido por sus libros y biografías de carácter histórico, todas ellas aclamadas por la crítica. Galardonado con el premio James Tait Black Memorial Prize por su biografía ‘Lord Palmerston’ (1971). Es autor, entre otros de los libros, ‘Nicholas Ridley’ (1957), ‘Garibaldi’ (1974), ‘The History of England’ (1981), ‘Henry VIII the Politics of Tyranny (1984)’ , ‘The Tudor Age’ (1988), ‘Elizabeth I: the Shrewdness of Virtue’ (1988), ‘Maximilian & Juárez’ (1992), Mussolini’ (1997) ‘Bloody Mary's Martyrs: The Story of England’s Terror’ (2001) y ‘A Brief History of The Tudor Age’ (2002).
